The present pope and JPII are merely "worthless shepherds" (Zechariah 11:16-17), following in line with their many predecessors, who "will not care for the perishing, seek the scattered, heal the broken, or sustain the one standing". They are merely heirs of the worthless shepherd known as Petros. None of them have fulfilled the directive of "Tend my Lambs" (John 21:15), but have attempted to annulled the gospel of Yeshua. They have all followed their own "visions" (Zech 13:4) and have bolstered the teachings of the false prophet Paul. They all claim to hold the keys of the kingdom, and have "shamed" the "masters house". (Isaiah 22:15-25). The pope, who claims to hold the keys of the kingdom will "break off", and those "hanging" on to him, will be "cut off". (Is 22:25). Rev 22:11," Let those who do wrong still do wrong;.....behold I am coming quickly". The lost, who follow the path to destruction, are on a wide path, and have many with them.

In your opinion, in the real world they (at least Francis) is making WAVES an taking down walls of economic oppression and providing the marginalized a real voice.\\

Granted, his stand on the LGBTQ community has a long way to go..

It is easier for a 'rich man to pass thru the eye of a needle than to enter heaven.

~Follow Jesus. Not man.

And his wardrobe needs updating to the 21st century and that pope mobile he knocks around in, surely the catholic church can have him in something cooler looking than that.

Great man. Saw him on his visit to Columbia, SC back in the late 80's.

"It's great to be young!"
"It's great to be young and a student!"
"It's great to be young and a student at the University of South Carolina!"

**crowd goes wild**

That's what he said at his appearance in front of the students at USC on the Horseshoe.
