Thank you. I determined my transition because I had spent enough time living with a mind/body disconnect that caused daily agony. I had to be my true self because doing otherwise was killing me. It was a true path.

Default What Makes a Christian?

What makes a Christian is the desire to follow Christ in love of God and each other every day and repent when we don't, period.

If you ask 1000 Christians this question, you'll get 1000 different answers.

Do you want 1000 automatrons switching off their brains and emotions and believing the exact same thing? What's wrong with getting 1000 answers? What if God has no problem with there being 1000 answers?

Who decided everyone had to believe the same thing to be a Christian?

I like consistency-of-product.

My point was simple: Christians themselves can't agree on what makes a Christian.

Maybe the Christian God likes to reveal different things to different Christians just for fun. I suppose it would be awfully boring without all of those religious wars, inquisitions, heresy trials, etc.

Interesting. One day they are labeled as robots who repeat what they have been brainwashed to repeat, and the next day the claim is that everyone gives a different answer.

Pick one claim and run with it. You lose credibility when you flip flop.

Which is why the references from the Bible are important.

You may not get a robotic standard definition - which is fine, but there should be some "standard" language and a consistent principle included in answering the question.
