Jesus said that His sheep hear His voice. He also said that those of the truth hear His voice. And again that whoever belongs to God hears the words of God. He said that His discples are given to know the secrets of the kingdom of God but those outside are not. So putting these together one can see that those who are of God are of the truth, the word of God as Jesus pointed out, and these people hear the word and know the secrets of the kingdom of God.

To hear God voice Believers need to be born again in the Spirit of God through Jesus Christ .......helps if they study the Bible with prayer asking for clarity taking notes is a key ...... helping others with a teaching gifts of the Holy spirit would be a calling gift to hear from Jesus Spirit .....keep from being a critic of Jesus and the Word of God ..........keeping humble to the Word of God , and not condemning others and keeping in peace would be expected .......Keeping cleansed of sin and being regular delivered from dark spirit and their interference will keep free to see the truth .......Obeying what Jesus says in callings will keep Jesus attention ..... See this is only a hand full of ideas for hearing from God , as the key is to find your calling and work with Jesus as Gifts of the Holy Spirit is the Holy Spirit doing the work so interaction with God will happen

Good advice, Miss Hepburn. Be still and listen for the voice of God. God can teach us things we do not even know without even using any person to speak to us. That's what I find incredibly amazing is when he makes me understand something by speaking to my spirit without using another person to teach me. This also builds my faith in his reality and makes me trust him even more because he has chosen to show himself to me in this way. No screaming preacher can mess with that.

Without Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit in you - this will not work.
