Under our Constitution, there is NO WAY to enforce Biblical law on a national basis, period. IF there is no secular justification for ANY law, it has no business being enacted or enforced.

Spoken only to the Jews.
In 1st Peter he wrote that epistle to the dispersed Jews. See 1 Peter 1:1. Those Jews were of the dispersion or diaspora.

My children did not know 10 Commandments. They were not brought up with the Bible, or religion. They certainly had access to the Bible. They were voracious readers, and we never censored their reading choices. The Bible held no interest for them.

As parents we set the standards for them. We never discussed "sin." We never raised our hands to them.

I hope Thursday with your grandson was fun for both of you. Three year olds are awesome.

Jesus and the 12 were for the Jews. When Christ returns the 12 will sit on 12 thrones and rule over the 12 tribes of Israel:

Mat_19:28 Yet Jesus said to them, "Verily, I am saying to you, that you [12 disciples] who follow Me, in the renascence
whenever the Son of Mankind should be seated on the throne of His glory, you [12 disciples] also shall sit on twelve
thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Peter, James and John agreed with Paul that they would be for the Circumcision and Paul for the nations in Galatians 2.

When Christ returns it will not be good will toward all men since some of the nations will be under duress due to being a goat nation during the millennium. So the "all men" appears to be for those in Israel who will have peace and good will while Christ rules over them. Eventually, at the consummation of the eons, absolutely all mankind will have peace and good will due to what Christ did.

So Paulie Girl is the messiah of the Gentiles?

But did these mere mortals bother to ask Christ if He agreed?

Gnostic tendencies usually result in complex explanations.

Jesus was sent to the Israelites to try to help them turn back to God--they refused--it opened the door to the gentiles as well. Everything Jesus taught is the will of God--it counts for all.

You were correct up to this point.

Of course everything Jesus taught is the will of God. It counts for all Jews. Believers of the nations don't have to cut off a hand or pluck out an eye to escape Gehenna.

Believers of the nations likewise are not under the tougher laws Christ laid down at the Sermon on the Mount.
