Like those freakish people in that church who show up at soldiers and gay funerals, I would round those people up and let them sit in jail for a while and think about what they are doing. Violence is getting way out of hand these days and that's all I see in those Christians, instigating violence and they wouldn't have done that stuff back in the day, the law would have come and slapped them around.

Since we can't force any extremist of any stripe to stop hating others, we need reasonable laws to get rid of the sale of automatic weapons. Anyone who doesn't see this is UNREASONABLE. There is a reason why you can't buy dynamite at Home Depot, for heaven's sake! Automatic weapons were made to do mass killings. Why on earth do we allow them to be manufactured and sold? No one has a right to own a weapon made for mass killing of human beings. Unfortunately, the gun lobby has played the Christian right to demand they have a right to own assault weapons. The gun manufacturers do it for the money. The people who demand they have the right to own such weapons do it because they are full of fear and hatred. I don't think this is going to change because even when the little children at Sandy Hook were gunned down, the Christian right did not care enough to say we have a gun problem in America. So much blood and more to come. What a sorry state this nation is in. The other nations of the world look at us and shake their heads. They think we are a crazy and stupid nation.

It does if you threaten the life of the President, or perhaps someone in Congress, but other than that, apparently anything goes. I think if people instigate violence they should be locked up, including Donald Trump for starters.

You shouldn't be speaking of our next president especially since he has been ordained by God who has the unfortunate reality to be the last president in the united states.

The last Trump.

But if anyone is really guilty of instigating violence, it is Obama, even to instigating violence against police officers and turning race relations back to the 50's. But I suppose they are about the same in my eyes, anti Christs.

LOl, violent people are following Trump everywhere calling him violent.

But being you can't tell the difference between "Praying" and the alternative, then that is more indicative of categorical hate and or bigotry.

If you can't tell the difference between "Praying" vs. the alternative, then that is more indicative on your part of categorical hate and or bigotry.

The difference is in the nature of the violence done, not in the fact. The communication of approbation concurrent with "Praying away the gay" is deadly to the spirit.

I have another way. Leave your LGBTQ brothers and sisters alone. Leave them in peace. They are not bothering anyone.

Exactly.

As someone whose very recent ancestors/relatives were treated extremely badly by both Christians and Muslims, it's hard to really see the difference.

The American gay person is still much more likely to be mistreated by a Christian then a Muslim.
