Except--GAYS, MUSLIMS, BUDDHISTS, the HOMELESS, the MARGINALIZED, LIBERALS, PROGRESSIVES, ATHEISTS, and all the others that the evangelical god seems to have hate and vengeance for in the heart----much as the followers of the tiny-god-in-the-box imitate?

No, everyone.

"But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man" (Hebrews 2:9).

Jesus was about taking care of the poor and marginalized. He was about treating women as equals and respecting them without condemnation.

Christianity has twisted the man until he is hardly recognizable with different Bibles. Women are not allowed to teach or speak at gatherings. Jesus would never have supported such a thing.

However, when reading the Bible, there are small glimpses of this complicated man.

The Jesus narrative was about Jesus and the strength of women. It is buried by today's men who would rather call me Jezebel that seek the truth of the entire bible when it comes to women.

From Eve to Mary the Bible is about the strength of women.

In the Adam and Eve story it is Adam who pointed a finger at Eve and blamed her for giving him the forbidden. He did not take responsibility for his own actions. It was all her fault.

Right then and there, God realized men were not worthy to be the seed of Jesus.

Fast forward to Mary. According to the story, it was God who impregnated her, not man, making Jesus born of woman alone.

Fast forward to the crucifixion. Every man abandoned Jesus. Every one of them. The women never left him and took care of him in death. The Marys are left in the dust after the crucifixion. The cowards who abandoned Jesus take all the credit.

It is the strength of women. That is the redemption. Women.

I do not call God, Father. I do not call friends, Father. God is not my Father.

Your relationship with God is one of a child to parent.

Jesus was failed by all of his friends. Only women who shared a special relationship with him stood by him to the end.
You're acting all elitist and superior to everyone else....like you don't really care if we believe a word you say..but you sure do make a point of telling us about it and arguing when you see something you disagree with.

So, yah..I think you really are concerned with what people think.

In any event, if you want to believe that? Good for you. You're right---I don't have a say in what you believe, nor do I honestly care to try to control you and your beliefs. But I'm only asking WHY you think what you think?

You tell me I have no say in what YOU think, but then you continue to tell me what I think. I find that extremely hypocritical.

Actually...yes----Gays, Muslims, Buddhists, Homeless, Marginalized, Liberals, Progressives, Atheists...etc..etc....

Even me. God himself became a man to pay for my sins. He died on a cross, taking the punishment and the wrath on himself instead of making me face it.

yes---Jesus died to redeem sinners. Even all of the above listed ones.

You make a strong case.

(And you also make the fundies apoplectic which is a hugely enjoyable bonus.)

In fact, I am unconcerned if you believe me, or not. I do not tell you what to think.
I tell you what I think. You simply do not like what or how I think. I am unconcerned. God and I are on the same page.

I have told you this before and you simply believe I do not mean what I say. ahahahaha I always mean what I say Viz. I own every word.

I also tell you I want you to think, not how to think. I want you to grow. I want you to be better. I have expressed this to you before.

hahahahaha Of course I will tell you I disagree with you. Would you prefer I fawn, and tell you how smart and wonderful you are? Do you want my admiration and fawning? I think you do. Somehow my agreement is important to you.

How about this. I will leave you with me fawning so you feel better and more....

Let me set the scene.

I am holding both hands in a prayer like grip against my cheek. I am fluttering my eyes, and looking up in total admiration. I am wearing my white angelic tutu, and red sparkle flats. There is a halo of light surrounding your body. Action.

Oh, you great big wonderful pastor you. So smart, so stoic, so... ..

What the hell is that light?
I say.

You look around. Oh. It is the motion detector... You were saying?

Why the vitriol? I've done nothing to you except simply ask questions.

You really are not a nice person. I'm sorry for you.

That was me being nice to a person who was being a bit of an arse. In fact, it was loving, because I love you Viz.

What? You are not going to pray for me? How pastoral is that? ahahahahaha

There was not one bit of vitriol. I simply put you in perspective. Make that loving perspective.

Here. Here is a nuggie for you... Ronk, standing on a chair, wrapping her arm around your neck, and giving you head a little rub with her knuckles.

All better. Wait... was the white tutu over the top, or the red sparkly flats?
