So? Jesus was baptized in water. It's speculative to think water baptism is not needed. If you have not been baptized publicly in water, you are at risk.
Matt. 10:32
"Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven."
i'm not sure you can make a case spiritually for "at risk." we have too many examples of people who are considered "accepted" where no baptism is evident or probable imo.

yup. i prefer to witness your baptism by fire now; don't really care if you had a ceremony.
If that was meaningful for (you), cool.

should i? i think i could pretty easily find ten verses that imply reliance on a ritual water baptism to make one acceptable and chosen by God is absurd, the importance of water baptism at the opening of the Church Age notwithstanding. I'd start @ but He will baptize you with the Spirit, and with fire and it is only going to get hotter from there. By all means get baptized, but "in mortal danger" or whatever the phrase was, not so much. Let me ask you--did [you], at any time, give the person who told [you] that any money?
It should be apparent that most, if not all, of the early church thought that the ceremony of water baptism was a requirement. Most, if not all, also thought that circumcision was a requirement for new converts until Paul.
"Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven."
And that too is very much part of the issue, because the mikvah was a public display of symbolically and ritually cleansing the person who was wanting to be spiritually clean, unlike the common bath in their home, which as I said before was a common part of Jewish life and belief at the time. Paul went to Jerusalem in Acts and ritually cleansed as part of the normal Jewish process involving a vow he made, and before he took his sacrifice and alms to their respective destinations. Peace
Why do you think that? The Samaritans did mikvah as well. Peace
First water then blood.
How the meek will inherit the blood is to a vessels return.
surely a message will reach west to east.
Recently I read and soaked up the word like the forest of ephraim.
