The book is perfectly clear and if you understood like you claim, you know there is no doubt unsaved people by the billions will end up in the lake of fire............there are NO good people, all have sinned........all need a Savior........

Being a scholar you must be familiar with this..........Paul was an Apostle as much or more than any Jesus selected.......as attested to by Peter here...........

2Pe 3:15 And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him,
2Pe 3:16 as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures.
2Pe 3:17 You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability.
2Pe 3:18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

We are all warned not to twist scripture here........but millions do it either purposefully or in ignorance......and there's a lot of that going around.........

I know you aren't Catholic, Richard!
Mary was not sinless nor a perpetual virgin.......she had to accept Jesus as her Savior just like the rest of us........

Adultery was seen as a big no-no & considered naughty enough to be included in the 10 Commandments.

The truth is that Miriam (Mary) was a bit of a scrubber.

If that's true then it's just a lucky coincidence.
Saul/Paul had never met the Rabbi & admitted that he had no clue as to what he taught.
When the Rabbis students heard of the superstitious nonsense being sprouted by Saul/Paul, they sent 'missionaries' around to sort him out.
In fact, Saul/Paul has a big sook about it & even justified his lies because his intentions were to 'further Gods glory'.
It's no-doubt why so many Christians think that it's not only acceptable to 'Lie for the Lord', but many also consider it admirable.

If this is correct, then why were the Rabbis students appalled at the superstitious nonsense coming from Saul/Paul? Why did they feel the need to send 'missionaries' around to sort him out?
And why did Saul/Paul find it necessary to justify 'Lying for the Lord'?

Paul was given a personal revelation by God (2 Corinthians 12:4). Peter, who walked with Jesus, confirmed Paul’s writings as gospel (2 Peter 3:14-16).
