Really? Scandinavians are pretty pacifistic. I hadn't noticed their leaders going on murderous rampages. What's your definition of "atheistic countries"? What about the Crusades? Religion has motivated a lot of people throughout history to commit genocide.

The Crusades are equal to America today fighting ISIS. It was defensive.
