False perceptions from primitive minds long ago got it all wrong.

BUT! As far as I'm concern, KJoe...keep believing He is an angry, jealous, vengeful God...one day
I hope you see Him for what He really is...and jump for joy with your heart overflowing with love.

I want His instruction, and need His instruction, and can't see living life with out His instruction .
I have tried doing things from the human perspective , it sucks .
Good intentions, out side Gods instruction ,often lead to greater problems .
God does not manipulate man ,but He does know mans potentials ,but a man that can be guided in God's will ,can be guided into blessing ,an through disaster unscathed .
Ever watch a movie where the hero is fearlessly facing eminent threat with a steel jaw , "it is a script " and he has a contract with the movie studio .
Well parenthetically a man that walks in obedience to God has a script ,knowing God's got his back, and even if the flesh dies, there is a reward for the obedient .
Jesus provided the Holy Spirit for His believers to make this possible .
I had to check to see if I wrote this!

All I can add is, "I know, right?"

The Bible says He is jealous and vengeful.

The Bible says He is jealous and vengeful.

Which makes him a petty godling and unworthy of worship.

The Bible says He is jealous and vengeful.
Which kind of makes me suspect that the people who wrote that were jealous and vengeful and needed to assign those characteristics to God to get support for an agenda.

The Bible is NOT Jesus or God.

The Bible says He is jealous and vengeful.
The bible that is written by MEN to control the masses says....prove to the masses GOD spoke these words.

I have faith that god did not say this, but MEN wrote it of their own free will..

So tell me that if it is in te bible god directed it to be so..

Then tell me why it is in

The Book of Mosiah

Chapter 11

King Noah rules in wickedness—He revels in riotous living with his wives and concubines—Abinadi prophesies that the people will be taken into bondage—His life is sought by King Noah. About 160–150 B.C.

22 And it shall come to pass that they shall know that I am the Lord their God, and am a jealous God, visiting the iniquities of my people.

And say this ain't a true account of what god told men to write?

I never said I thought God was angry, jealous, and vengeful. Show me the evidence! Now, obviously you made it up. And if you make things up, is it possible that you imagine up a god to suit your own idea what He SHOULD be like?

I made a mistake I see...I reread a ques of yours more carefully.
I'm sorry, you never said you thought God was angry or vengeful...I do think jealous was implied...unless I got that wrong, too.
