Better yet, what can reach across the dividing lines of religion without tickling your own ear?
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, neither are you willing to let in those who wish to enter ...through that of love, mercy and compassion.
Oh! I didn't get that that was the actual ques you were asking, sorry.
Because the ego has not been undone and we are the slaves to self-made, imaginary limitations....but that's a whole other story.
Your post was good. I just used the Scripture verse to point out something.
Which I thought was clear, but it may have been a bit foggy (Big Grin).
So you are saying there are negative truths in the scripture that are not ear ticklers that you accept?. The truth is you like everyone else like the things that tickle your ears, and what happens to tickle yours does not neccesarily tickle the ears of others and vice versa.

Yes. For instance, you guys would prefer to have your ears tickled and be told all sorts of warm, fuzzy things over the actual truth. It's why you deny the existence of hell.
There's nothing new under the sun. The apostle Paul saw this day coming.

The existence of hell is denied - because it does not exist.

Strange, you quote PAULIE and not Christ, so very strange...
Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." That's peace
When he comes back, those that reject him will be cast in the lake of fire, and there will be lasting peace for all eternity.
I think Revelation 22:18 reads that if anyone adds to these words, "God shall add to him the plagues which are written in this book". Whereas, Revelation 20:15 reads that "if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life; he was thrown into the lake of fire". This is a departure from your story. Those not written in the "book of life", "written from the foundation of the world", will worship the beast (Revelation 13:8), and apparently his heir, the beast with two horns like a lamb. That would include "those who dwell on the earth" (Revelation 13:14). As the beast with two horns like a lamb was the Roman emperor Constantine, and his two Christlike horns were Peter and Paul, anyone following their path, the path of the false prophet Paul (Matthew 7:15) is apparently heading towards "destruction" (Matthew 7:13). As Paul is a false prophet, leaning on his babel might not be reliable. 1 John 3:9 makes a better representation of your "peace". I think you have chosen the wrong path, the path of lawlessness (Romans 7:6).
1 John 3:9 "No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him, and he cannot sin, because he is bon of God".
Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." That's peace.

To be in Christ means to be aware of being in the Light(Something i do not believe for 1 minute fundamentalists are), and in the Light you are aware that there is no separation from God and there never has been. It does not mean there are some in Christ and some are not. So being in Christ is being enlightened and that none of what the condemned mind thinks and believes exists there.
