This peace is not observable among the religious, it is hidden from them. The peace from the birth of Jesus is in the hearts of those who are humble and do His will. The religious already have their reward, their own praise.

This Peace on Earth among men of goodwill is when Jesus begins his thousand-year governmental rule over Earth.
For now this ' peace' is in knowing about Jesus (John 17:3) and looking forward to calendar Day One of Jesus' coming millennium-long day of governing over Earth when there will be ' healing ' for earth's nations as per Rev. 22:2.
That is why we are all invited to pray the invitation of Rev. 22:20 for Jesus to come !
Come and bring the benefits of ' healing ' to earth's nations when Earth will be as described in the 35th chapter of Isaiah.

The "awesome day of the LORD" will be a day when few will survive (Joel 2:31-32) & (Matthew 7:13) & (Matthew 24:22), and when the nations will be brought to the valley of judgment (Joel 3:2). The 1000 year reign of the "Word of God" will have the "nations"/Gentiles ruled with a rod of iron (Revelation 19:15). Revelation 22:2 was about the leaves of the tree of life used for healing. Isaiah 35 is about the "eyes of the blind will be opened", which eludes to Matthew 11:5, which took place around 2000 years ago.

I think that means only the humble, those who have nothing to fear will physically live through the Second Coming. Imagine hearing a trumpet blast and running outside to see the sky filled with His angels. I think 95% of people just drop over from a heart attack.

It isn’t enough to talk about peace, one must live and experience it for themselves.
But, if you cannot find it within (yourself), you will live a life of constant turmoil.

I think if you read more carefully, the "nations"/Gentiles will be ruled with a "rod of Iron" (Revelation 19:15), and the immoral, murderers, and liars will be locked outside of the gates (Revelation 22:14-15). Only 1/3 of all mankind is killed by fire, smoke and brimstone (Revelation 9:18), that leaves plenty of those who do not "repent of their murders" (Revelation 9:21).

If you watch the news, there is no peace and goodwill among men. Peace and the good will of God, is reserved for those in whom he is pleased.

I don’t think you can generalise like that.... individuals are judged on their actions and words.

Misguided beliefs can lead you to mis the mark, but it’s not a forgone conclusion

And a few super volcano's or a comet can change everything on this planet in a short period of time.

I think you are writing your own script. What will happen is the "great earthquake", whereas all the cities of the nations will "fall", and 100 pound hailstones raining down "upon men" (Revelation 16:16-21), and "every island fled away". Yet, that time will be "cut short" for the sake of the "elect", less "no life would have been saved" (Matthew 24:22). Keep in mind that multiple re entry rockets carry nuclear payloads which weigh around 100 pounds each (Zechariah 14:12). One would be wise to follow the example of every "slave" and the "kings of the earth", and hide in "the caves" (Revelation 6:15).

Your "trumpet" and "angels" come "immediately after the tribulation of those days". Many of your "95% of people" are already dead. (Matthew 24:29-31). Then the "elect", the good wheat, will be gathered, after the tares, the lawless, have been "first" gathered and burned. (Matthew 13:30) & (Matthew 13:41)
