Archbishop Vigano composed this prayer for regular, perhaps frequent use:

Here is how it begins:

Quote:
Almighty and Eternal God, King of Kings and Lord of Lords: graciously turn your gaze to us who invoke You with confidence.

Bless us, citizens of the United States of America; grant peace and prosperity to our Nation; illuminate those who govern us so that they may commit themselves to the common good, in respect for Your holy Law.

Well...this is the Christianity forum, so....

Back to the matter at hand,
Thank God for Abp. Vigano, one of the few in the hierarchy who actually speaks like a Catholic!

May many other bishops follow in his example.

Pay no attention to him. His sole purpose on earth is to mock and insult religious people.

Another lie from a familiar source of same.

My "main" (not "sole') purpose is to expose the rot that lies at the heart of religious fundamentalism. You have certainly aided me in that endeavor.

That's what I said. You do it by mocking and attacking Christians. I feel bad for you.

You have no intent of actually contributing to discussion, other than to insult. That's sad.

And, of course, not all Christians are religious fundamentalists.

I mock and attack fundies, not Christians -- just fundies such as yourself. Thankfully, they are a tiny, albeit dangerous sub-sect of Christianity. Most Christians are good-hearted, honest people.

You can continue to misrepresent me, of course. It's not surprising given you are what you are.
