Yes, I would. In fact, I do that all of the time. Before God, I often adopt the scientific method. It has proven a very good way to learn from Him. The only prerequisite, and I take it this is where you lose faith in people, is that you must be able to listen to God when He corrects you. Listening is of such importance. Without it, I would become entirely lost. So many of the things that God has to say have to be parsed out of combinations with everyday things. And it is too easy to conflate last time's lesson with this one, thinking they are more similar than they really are. There are times when I find I have to abandon a line of thought whole heartedly, but others where I was right. I could say this is so that I can laugh at myself, but I don't think the value of being wrong is such that it provides material for that.
