You ASSume what you consider fact is scripture because you do not ask Jesus if it is or not, Charlie. That is the major error our ancestors made and you are following the crowd like lemmings and continuing the error to unknown but unintended spiritual consequences. Wake up, Charlie!

Who among us are ashamed of the Words of Christ? How many of us deny His Words plainly seen in scripture because we don't like them, they don't agree with our theology?

Our Lord Jesus said what He meant, and meant what He said!

If you choose to ignore anything He said, that is being ashamed of His Words, as many here are doing, He has said in return, I will be ashamed of you!

Many don't consider the consequences of their actions. They take the Word of God as a grain of salt, thinking they can influence it to their liking.

But I'm here to tell you that you don't won't our Lord and Saviour, who holds your eternal soul in His hand to be ashamed of you! That is a very terrible place to be.

But go ahead and deny His Words, ignore His Words, be ashamed of what He said and try in your own way to change it. And good luck on the day when you leave this world and see Him face to face!
Charlie, I suspect you're right about one thing: There are some people who deny Jesus' words, are ashamed of what He said, and try to change it. I don't believe the majority of people whose interpretation of scripture differs from yours fall into this category, though. And I've got to tell you, you're really not in much of a position to threaten anyone with a judgment that is God's alone.

What power do you assume I have to carry out a threat on others?

I just repeat scripture, some don't like that, it reminds them of something they don't like to hear.

Was Jesus who told us to teach His words a threat to you?

It is sad but true. Most will not follow the son of man, the narrow gate, because the road is hard. Even you. You may think you’ve got it right and you are close but try and use His words as your own then He won’t be ashamed of you.

If people don’t use His words as their own and follow Him, He is ashamed of you, especially now since I’ve been exposing the flaw in the Pauline doctrine.

“The LORD God does nothing without revealing His secrets to His servants, the prophets.”

“From the believers heart shall flow rivers of living water.”

“The one who enters through the gate is the shepherd of the sheep.”

The son of man is the good shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep.

He lays it down freely.

The Father loves Him for this!!

If the son frees you, you will be truly freed. Freed by the truth, God’s word will free you.

"Good luck on the day when you leave this world and stand before Him face to face!" Seriously? Sounds like a threat to me. Kind of like a mom telling her misbehaving child, "You just wait till your father gets home!"

It's one thing to quote scripture. It's another thing to look down on everybody who interprets it differently from you. Just try not to be so judgmental for a change.

Jesus has never been a threat to me. I am encircled in the arms of His love.

So when Jesus says, as I pointed to in the OP, He will be ashamed of those who are ashamed of His words, and we plainly see some here who ignore and deny His words, are we to be silent?

Are we be silent and let it be, or stand for the scripture and point it out?

I can't speak for you only myself, I will not be silent and be asked one day why, why did you not warn them of my words knowing what I have said?

No sir, as I've said before, that ain't gonna happen especially because you don't like it!

Do whatever you feel right about doing, I guess. Just remember, Jesus also said, "Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven." That's one bit of scripture that's probably worth paying special attention to.

Personally, as far as I'm concerned, you can go ahead and knock yourself out. I'm just not convinced that your approach is working very well. Oh, and by the way, I'm not a "sir." I'm a "ma'am," if you feel you must be that formal.
