The bottom line is that it takes an unbelievably evil and hardened heart and mind to accept such a thing as everlasting punishment for ANY REASON! Accept it at your own peril.

If you had any such power to discern false prophets or heresies you would be Jesus, Charlie. You are NOT! But your hubris and arrogance in thinking you can make such judgments will have to be accounted for, as will all those you influence or persuade against the Holy Spirit of agape love. Why are you betting your eternal soul on what you THINK (or have been told) are the scriptures that contain God's word, Charlie??? Did Jesus visit you and confirm it or is there some other infallible way you have of knowing it???? There has been an awful lot of time and opportunity for false prophets and teachers to have affected what is in the Bible. What is your secret infallible source of this certainty about what is and is not God's word???

The scriptures you use to "line up your sights" and detect false prophets point all over the place in inconsistent and incompatible directions. How the hell can you use them to line up anything in your sights? You just ignore the inconsistencies and incompatibilities using blind faith, which makes you the blind leading the blind. There are no inconsistencies, neither incompatibilities, in holy scripture.
The only way this is going to work is for the burden of proof to be on you, to show inconsistencies or incompatibilties in scripture, and then the burden of proof will be on us to show how, in that particular instance, the inconsistency or incompatibility is only apparent and perceived but not actual.
