And I do not presume to think that I have a better understanding than others.
But if their understanding is in contradiction to what I definitely understand and know, then I will proclaim my understanding in contradiction to theirs; and if I know that my understanding is true in contradiction to theirs, then I will say that my understanding is the truth and that theirs is also a lie.

It IS unreasonable to believe it unerringly reflects the Holy Spirit of the word of God without testing it against what we are told and have as our standard of TRUTH and infallible example of God's Holy Spirit of agape love, Jesus Christ. Your ignorant refusal to subject what MEN have told you is the accurate word of God against the INFALLIBLE Word of God Jesus Christ is completely unreasonable!!!
There should be no problem with any such test if what you have been told about the writings is true. You know in your heart and in your extensive knowledge of the scriptures that there would be a problem with any such test that is why you refuse to do it. You want to keep your wrathful and vengeful God who needed to be appeased by blood sacrifices so you can keep intact your corrupt Bad News Gospel derived from it.
Those who penned the New Testament were tested by the early church and found to be true apostles (Revelation 2:2).
Therefore there is no reason to pick apart their words to see what in them is true and what in them isn't true.
If they are good trees, they cannot bear bad fruit (Matthew 7:15-20).
