It never frightened my kids and grandkids, I told them how they can never worry about that!

It seems the UR has a fixation on that scenario, it makes no sense to me!

You can't tell me that Jerwade doesn't like ol' Charlie!

He wants you to believe that though.

He may be executed by the UR assassins if the truth came out, so hush, hush!

If we don't confess our sins, He cannot forgive them!
it is very specific about darkness sin and light:
9"Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness."

If you think God forgives sin without your acknowledging those sins, you have missed the boat!

Acts 3:19

"Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,"

Repent means to turn from those sins, to change your ways! That means you are acknowledging those sins exist. Those sins are what nailed Jesus to the Cross!
I think you missed the boat charlie, Jesus forgave those who crucified him without them acknowledging their sin.

Jesus forgave them in the sense of practicing what he preached! When the disciples asked Him were they forgive seven times, Jesus said forgive seventy times seven!

Those who crucified Him were not forgiven of that sin because even though Christ was forgiving, there was no repentance on their part!

Man must repent of his sin or there is no forgiveness in the sight of God. Sin is a legal thing, pneuma, the sinner must repent or there is no remission of sin whether involving salvation or trespasses against another!

nope forgiveness is a lake and Jesus cast their sins in the lake of forgiveness and remembered their sin no more.

There were some Roman soldiers saved!

Matt. 27:54

“Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.”

Jewish history says the centurion's name was Longinus, that he became a devout Christian and died a martyr's death in the name of Christ!

The "fear" they had insinuates the repentance that saved them by faith!

So you equate this Longinus to the them Jesus forgave. Was he the one who crucified Jesus?

Charlie do you only forgive people for their sins against you after they come to you and beg your forgiveness?
