Topic 1: Do you think LDS is another denomination of Christianity? I ask because I'm not a member, but I have been investigating them and their beliefs for a while. Do you have any knowledge that might help me?
Yes, I do. I am 73 years old and have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all my life. If I didn't believe my church was a Christian church, I wouldn't be a part of it. I have tons of knowledge that might help you, and I offered a couple of weeks ago when you started your other post, to do just that.

Yes, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten Son of God the Father. I believe you have a typo in one of your sentences, so I'm not sure quite how to respond to it. I do believe that God the Father and Jesus Christ are two separate beings, though.

I think that would be a mistake because I believe in the separation of church and state. I've never needed any currency to remind me of who I put my trust in.

Schizoaffective disorder is not a minor disability, Jer. If true as he asserts, it explains a lot. Hopefully, he is medicating.
I understand that, but most fundamentalists act like they are the therapist with self medicating religion which doesn't help with disorganized thinking or delusions of grandeur. Although, it does explain the mood swings (enthusiasm) and episodes of depression.
Our congregation is Kat, but I suppose it would apply to those who serve other gods as well, just led by the name of their god.
