No, for a lot of the Christians who post here, it's not pointless at all. Now it would be if all of the "Christians" who post here were to acknowledge that those of us they are trying to convert to Christianity already are Christians.
Or perhaps they’re merely here to convert (proselytize) one to their idea of what a true Christian is...
I'm just looking for like minded individuals that enjoy discussing God and Jesus Christ and even the Holy Spirit..
No one here is like minded, there are Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Baptists, Pentecostals, Methodists and no-Denominationals...All think differently and have different beliefs, customs and conclusions...Therefore, which one would you consider a true or real Christian?...

That's a lot of "I"s and me's there buddy. We're nothing compared to what's above. We can be used to further the kingdom, but it's still always about what's above and those around us.
Mirrors can be useful when we need to see ourselves clearly and honestly, to get helpful feedback. But when used for ego purposes, nothing genuine or useful will be seen or learned.
You should share your excitement with God. He's the one who needs to hear it. We really don't.
