I thought this would be a good way for us to encourage each other in the Lord, and a good time as well. I am so thankful to God that His mercy is new every morning and great is His faithfulness. I am thankful that Jesus gave His life to pay for my sins so that I don't have to. I am thankful for eyes that can see, ears that can hear, food I can taste, touch I can feel, and that we are loved by God Himself and invited into a relationship with Him through our Lord Jesus the Messiah.
I am thankful that the furnace is working, I'm thankful that God hears me even when I'm not aware of it, I'm thankful for the nice people who hang around in this forum, thankful for all the beauty God has made, a little black cat that only hisses at me sometimes, hope for the future, so much...

Those are all wonderful things to be thankful for Nancy. At 67 yrs of age now, I am thankful that Jehovah allows me to be one of His people, and the way He has blessed me in my life. It seems that each and every day is more precious, and the glorious hope He puts in front of us is all most unbelievable really.
I'm thankful for the life he have given me, my wife, family, job, church, etc. I honestly never saw him blessing us the way he has this past couple of years. He has been good to us.
I am thankful for my children, to live in the United States, for the promises of God that we can hold onto even when things are hard and we don't understand.
Regarding what I'm thankful for, I hardly know where to start.
1. I am thankful that I'm an American. I know my country is far from perfect, but I still feel blessed to live here.
2. I'm thankful for my standard of living, for the comforts and conveniences I often take for granted, but which so many others don't have.
3. I am thankful for my good health. I know I'm much healthier for my age than a lot of people are. I have never suffered from any kind of serious illness and that's a true blessing.
4. I'm thankful for having been raised by the two best parents I could have ever asked for. I had an idyllic childhood and this is due, for the most part, to how I was raised.
5. I am thankful for my only sibling, a sister that I love dearly.
6. I am grateful for my husband. He has put up with me for 51 years now. His name is Matt, and my sister refers to him as St. Matthew. It is a very appropriate name for him!
7. I'm thankful for my two grown children, a soon-to-be 42-year-old son and a 39-year-old daughter. I am thankful that they are as close to each other as they are and that we're all going to be able to spend Thanksgiving together again this year.
8. I'm thankful that I have been blessed to feel the overwhelming love that I do for animals, and I am so thankful that right now, I have two dogs and two cats. They are so precious to me.
9. I'm thankful that I have had so many opportunities to travel and to see this amazing world. (I'm not done yet, though!)
10. I'm thankful that I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My beliefs have made me the person I am now, and have given me a worldview that helps me to see all human beings as my brothers and sisters.
I'm thankful that there is sufficient historical evidence for the resurrection of Jesus to convince me that Jesus is who he claimed to be and therefore I can conclude that Christianity is true. (No debates please. This isn't the thread for it.)
I'm thankful that salvation is by grace through faith and I don't have to earn it. I would have failed miserably.
I'm thankful that my basic material needs are met - a roof over my head, food to eat, clothes to wear, a dependable source of income for the rest of my life.
I'm thankful that I have good health.
I'm thankful that my life hasn't turned out as badly as it could have considering some poor decisions on my part in my younger years.
I'm thankful that finally I seem to be at peace with myself.
I am thankful to God for my sweet wife, who took good care of me when I went through cancer treatments.
