When you tell people that God separated himself from us and the scriptures clearly say otherwise, you are lying about what the scriptures say, especially when it has been pointed out to you.
Lol, Jesus Christ (who you called God on another thread) sat and ate and drank with sinners and brushed shoulders with them
Paul said to those Athenians sinners that WE live and move and have our being IN Him. He followed up with that by saying this....... that they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though HE BE NOT FAR FROM EVERY ONE OF US
You need a Holy Ghost slap for being so stiff necked that you cannot see by these scriptures that God HAS NOT separated Himself from us.
Guess I have to not just reference it but to quote it...
<sigh> some people just don't want to do their homework...
Isa 59:2, But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
Read that again and then tell me where it says God separated himself from us? Then also tell me how this scripture can true as well as your opinion on Isaiah 59:2
If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? Psalm 130:3.
You are obsessed with sin and hell, so much so you read both into every bible verse you set your eyes upon. You definitely would have rebuked aJesus and told him to repent for eating and drinking with sinners, if you was about in His day, you would have had all the Bible verses too, to prove you were right.
Here is another verse stating the closeness of God ..... The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly. Ever wondered how God knows us so well? He's not sitting on a throne up in the sky with military grade binoculars or a heavenly version of the Hubble telescope.

That was BEFORE God joined Humanity as Jesus and became one of us with God's Holy Spirit. When He died as a human and was "born again" as Spirit He Joined God as the Comforter (HolySpirit/paraclete) at God's right hand and at the head of all "born again" human spirits. He also abides with us within our consciousness to guide us to the Truth God has "written in our hearts" with His agape love.

The word of God is timeless; and therefore Isaiah 59:2 refers to unredeemed humanity today.

The Lord does mark iniquities; but He does not do so with those who have availed themselves of that which brings forgiveness of sins...the Cross of Jesus Christ. To them He does not mark iniquities.
Psalms 130:3 is speaking of the fact that no one would be able to stand if the Lord marked iniquities with everyone.
Because the verse is balanced out by Isaiah 59:2; which tells us that sin has separated certain people from the Lord.
You have again pitted scripture against scripture; when what needs to be done is to take contrasting scriptures into account of each other and come up with an interpretation based on the reconciliation of the two.

Again, Isaiah 59:2 balances out your scripture and you need to take it into account when formulating your theology of whether sin has separated sinners from the Lord.

You are adding your beliefs to it. WHO it says can stand? The answer is no one, no matter who they are.
For a bible lover, you leave yourself wide open to all the flaws of your beliefs
He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

The verse that you have quoted in bold above is spoken by a believer and also only applies to believers.
