YouTube - Cartoon banned by the Mormon church

Totally unblical. Are they out of their minds? Jesus was with the Father in the beginning. Jesus is God the son. The holy trinity is the ONLY God. We are not Gods and never will be. Jesus fulfilled everything. On the cross he said "IT IS FINISHED!" The bible can never be changed.

Go to freenewtestament.com to get a free bible and give your heart to Jesus, become a Christian and FOLLOW Jesus's word.

The cartoon explains the Mormon faith and what they believe. I am not against Mormons. I am against them going to hell. I love them very much and don't want that to happen to them. Jesus said, "My people perish for lack of knowledge." They are in a false religion, a cult. It is the job as a Christian to bring people out of false religions and tell them the truth. Jesus said "It Is Finished" on the cross and said not one word can be added to the bible. The Mormons believe things totally against the bible. Lord have mercy.

I'm not a mormon, but slandering a faith because it is not your own is horrible.
I mean really, is this the tactic Jesus took? Spreading lies and disinformation to make a point? No, not that I am aware of.

If you wish to live a godly life, then all the best to you corking28, for surely that is what this world needs more of. But no need to be insulting to other people who are just like you in that they are living a godly life in the way they feel best. If they didn't want to be morman/catholic/jewish/hindu or whatever I assure you there is plenty of information out there about your brand of christianity. They would change if they wanted to. They don't.

i thought it was comical, but not biblical at all. If that is what the mormon believe then it is very scary. I prefer staying with the teaching of the Bible.

Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose [them.]

Look. There is no disinformation here. YouTube - Cartoon banned by the Mormon church

The following are some Quotes from the Mormon scripture and writtings that will back up the cartoon. They have many books that they follow.

If it had not been for Joseph Smith and the restoration, there would be no salvation. There is no salvation [the context is the full gospel including exaltation to Godhood] outside the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, (Mormon Doctrine, p. 670.)

Book of Mormon
The book of Mormon is more correct than the Bible, (History of the Church, 4:461.)

God
God used to be a man on another planet, Mormon Doctrine, p. 321. Joseph Smith, Times and Seasons, Vol 5, pp. 613-614; Orson Pratt, Journal of Discourses, Vol 2, p. 345, Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, vol. 7, p. 333.)

"The Father has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man’s..." (D&C 130:22).

God is in the form of a man, (Joseph Smith, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 6, p. 3.)

"God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens!!! . . . We have imagined that God was God from all eternity. I will refute that idea and take away the veil, so that you may see" (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 345

God the Father had a Father, (Joseph Smith, History of the Church, vol. 6, p. 476; Heber C. Kimball, Journal of Discourses, vol. 5, p. 19; Milton Hunter, First Council of the Seventy, Gospel through the Ages, p. 104-105.)

God resides near a star called Kolob, (Pearl of Great Price, pages 34-35; Mormon Doctrine, p. 428.)

God had sexual relations with Mary to make the body of Jesus, (Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 4, p. 218, 1857; vol. 8, p. 115.) - This one is disputed among many Mormons and not always 'officially' taught and believed. Nevertheless, Young, the 2nd prophet of the Mormon church taught it.

"Therefore we know that both the Father and the Son are in form and stature perfect men; each of them possesses a tangible body . . . of flesh and bones." (Articles of Faith, by James Talmage, p. 38).

Satan
The Devil was born as a spirit after Jesus "in the morning of pre-existence," (Mormon Doctrine, page 192.)

Jesus and Satan are spirit brothers and we were all born as siblings in heaven to them both, (Mormon Doctrine, p. 163.)

A plan of salvation was needed for the people of earth so Jesus offered a plan to the Father and Satan offered a plan to the father but Jesus' plan was accepted. In effect the Devil wanted to be the Savior of all Mankind and to "deny men their agency and to dethrone god." (Mormon Doctrine, page 193; Journal of Discourses, vol. 6, page 8.)

There are many gods, (Mormon Doctrine, p. 163.)
"And they (the Gods) said: Let there be light: and there was light (Book of Abraham 4:3)

There is a mother god, (Articles of Faith, by James Talmage, p. 443.)
God is married to his goddess wife and has spirit children, (Mormon Doctrine p. 516.)

Jesus
The first spirit to be born in heaven was Jesus, (Mormon Doctrine, page 129.)

Jesus and Satan are spirit brothers and we were all born as siblings in heaven to them both, (Mormon Doctrine, p. 163; Gospel Through the Ages, p. 15.)

Jesus' sacrifice was not able to cleanse us from all our sins, (murder and repeated adultery are exceptions), (Journal of Discourses, Vol. 3, p. 247, 1856.)

"Therefore we know that both the Father and the Son are in form and stature perfect men; each of them possesses a tangible body . . . of flesh and bones." (Articles of Faith, by James Talmage, p. 38).

"The birth of the Saviour was as natural as are the births of our children; it was the result of natural action. He partook of flesh and blood - was begotten of his Father, as we were of our fathers." (Journal of Discourses, Vol. 8: p. 115).

"Christ was begotten by an Immortal Father in the same way that mortal men are begotten by mortal fathers" (Mormon Doctrine," by Bruce McConkie, p. 547).

"Christ Not Begotten of Holy Ghost ...Christ was begotten of God. He was not born without the aid of Man, and that Man was God!" (Doctrines of Salvation, Joseph Fielding Smith, 1954, 1:18).

"Elohim is literally the Father of the spirit of Jesus Christ and also of the body in which Jesus Christ performed His mission in the flesh ..." (First Presidency and Council of the Twelve, 1916, God the Father, compiled by Gordon Allred, pg. 150).

So, think about it next time someone is trying to expose a lie. Just because someone claims to be of God doesn't make it is so. Investigate!

Those who support Mormons, simply because they are so-called christians, and claim to be following God, give succor to apostates and enemies of Christ, and actually encourage them in their unbelief.

Rightly divide the truth.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

THis thread is pure hate and bigotry. When did Jesus ever teach to put others down? When did He ever teach to condemn anothers belief.

This thread should be closed.

godspeed,

freedom

Your truth is not their truth. Is that too hard to understand? They do not see a need to be saved by you because in their eyes they are already saved.

As far as you listing all the reasons they are wrong ----it is irrelevent if you or I believe as they do. What is important is that they believe it. You don't think that they haven't been exposed to all sorts of Christians sects including yours? If they thought they were wrong, they would change denomanations. They don't. End of story.

Well, no wonder it was banned. I can see why they are so secretive now. Completely unbelievable. Please do as Corking suggests and give your heart to Jesus before it is too late.
