It is wonderful that you are seeking God. Please read the Holy Bible's New Testament (at least the four Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) before you decide on a denomination. The Bible will speak God's truth to you if you open your heart. I pray that you will be guided in your decision. God bless you!
So I am wondering how I would go about becoming Catholic.
I am sixteen, and I've been raised in a Lutheran family.
I don't go to church, though I would very much like to. So I really don't know so much about the religion.
I have complete faith in God, though. I want to be closer to God.
Care to tell me about Catholicism? Or, help in any form would be very much appreciated. :] Thank you in advance.
I don't know that much about Catholicism, but there are some on this forum that are Catholic. Give it a few days and you may get some better responses about that. I believe Twin.Spin is a Lutheran, and Weatherologist is a Catholic but other than that I'm not sure.
Bideshi gave some good advice about reading the Bible, and I am also very pleased to see such a young person seeking God and a closer relationship with Him. No matter what denomination you choose, the important thing is that Jesus Christ is recognized as the only way to the Father. Many blessings to you.

I converted to the Roman Catholic Church about 10 years ago.
The first thing you probably ought to do is go to a Catholic church. Maybe even talk to the pastor or the RCIA director. (RCIA = Rite for Christian Initiation of Adults.) They'll be able to answer your questions and give you some guidance.
If you'd like some great books on the subject, I'd recommend:
Born Fundamentalist, Born Again Catholic by David B. Currie
What Catholics Really Believe-Setting the Record Straight: 52 Answers to Common Misconceptions About the Catholic Faith by Karl Keating
Surprised by Truth: 11 Converts Give the Biblical and Historical Reasons for Becoming Catholic by Mark Madrid
By What Authority?: An Evangelical Discovers Catholic Tradition by Mark P. Shea
This Is My Body: An Evangelical Discovers The Real Presence by Mark P. Shea
And if you want something really brilliant, but rather deep, you can't do better than The Catholic Church and Conversion by G.K. Chesterton, which you can find online here: http://www.ewtn.com/library/CHRIST/CONVERSI.TXT
Congratulations! Here is another book to discover many truths of the Catholic Church. You may also want to read about the complete history of the Roman Catholic Church. It is the only church that can trace it's roots back to Jesus Christ. The church has survived all kinds of scandals in the last 2000 years and it will continue to survive as God will not let anything destroy His Church. The church is perfect, but keep in mind not all of it's members are holy. We are sinners just like every one else.

Time magazine once described him as " probably the premier Catholic scripture scholar in the US.,"
