My passion is something I'm not allowed to have. So aside from that, I do enjoy an occasional video game, a nice dark chocolate bar, maybe building a model sometimes, taking pictures, traveling someplace nice.....nothing really special.

Default Gone

June has a passion for the geese to return, perhaps some day, and fly over her house, even just one more time...

I'd hate to be the one who has to clean your roof!

What do you mean? Are you saying it is wrong to be passionate about something?

Hmm....that's a tough one for me.

I mean, aside from God, most times I am not really passionate about anything. If we are talking about passion that is. There's lots of things I like or dislike but if we are talking about something I am red hot for, even in regard to God, I think I could be so much more passionate.

Sometimes my heart breaks to realize how unpassionate I am in general for the things of the Lord.

Also...I am passionate about some things, some times, and not passionate about those same things, at other times. So I guess it depends on what day in my week we are talking about. Or how I am feeling about this or that at any given time.

This morning I was absolutely passionate about setting my face like flint to walk forward trusting God to provide for me today (and He did as always - though I always struggle to believe). With clenched teeth I went forward with my day despite what seemed like a terrible attack upon me by Satan making me feel like I was no good for anything and that my life was a waste.

Right at this moment, I don't feel particularly passionate about much of anything. I am just sitting here, relaxed, and at peace after having eaten a nice snack at McDonald's. Not that a McDonald's meal can make one experience peace mind you...well...at least not the peace I am feeling

Now if someone came in and walked right up to me and spilled a cup of water on my laptop...well...I think I would be right passionate, real quick about something like that though I would like to think that the Lord would check my spirit and allow me to gracefully say something like "God loves you" while having this glowing, peaceful look on my face

No, righteous passion is a blessing to the soul, and to the kingdom of expansion (heaven).

Where the eye is, there shall the heart be.

Would all of you say that you love and put God first?

Doesn't that contradict Christianity?
