It's comments like these that make me wonder why you didn't vote for him, freedom? If he is a sign of our growing immorality and a closeness to the "end times" it seems to me like you'd want to expedite the process.
Not my call when, its just important to know the season...

So nice to be among believers in this thread! I would pray that through the difficult times that Obama will face -- difficult beyond his wildest dreams -- that he will learn to draw his strength from God and His word. I pray that through this spiritual renewal, that Obama will be convicted of his stances on the issues that go contrary to the word of God...
Some of the greatest spiritual awakenings have occurred during times of Godless leadership. American believers should get on our knees and pray for this country.
Obama stands on the opposite side of many moral issues of the believers. Some of his past associations have been with communists, marxists, abortionists and black liberation theolgy. Looking at these facts there is much reason for concern. What as believers should we do???
First, I think we should remember that from before the foundation of the Republic, Godly men and women have cried out to the Lord for mercy and blessing on this land the Lord brought us to. We should remember, it is the Lord who searches hearts and minds and knows them.
Like it or not as of Jan 20 2009 he is our president. The Lord knows what is in Obama's heart and mind, we do not.
Many believers in this country are getting visions, dreams and/or a knowing in the spirit that terrible judgements are about to come on our nation. Again, what should we do?
I think we should begin to fast and pray for mercy for our nation and new president and that the Lord would give him the wisdom and courage to do God's will for our land. What do you think?

We should do what my grandmother did when I was standing on the opposite side of many moral issues, and I was associated with "Woodstock", anti-war;
and all the other pill popping, acid-dropping degenerates of my time . Pray for God to intervene, "but we don't know if he hasn't done this already, we must walk carefully praying always without ceasing for all men

President-elect Barack Obama stands on the same side of many moral issues of believers such as being empathetic and compassionate towards others, seeking to help those in need in a practical way, being a good role model, a good father and husband, being responsible, building unity instead of discord. He is also a believer.We pray for one another and for all people. Other Americans may have had associations with individuals with questionable ideology and ideas. This doesn't mean that they support the ideology or ideas. We are in the world but not of the world, for example. What of other presidents with whom we may not agree with on all things? They were still our leaders and needed our prayers and should have had the respect for the role that God has placed them in the responsibility that goes with it. He belongs to God just as we all do. He especially needs prayers for his protection considering the death threats being made against him. God bless.

He's the perfect end times example of where America went wrong after God gave us the opportunity and blessing of a Free country, we used it to fall into moral decay, religious confusion, which leads to captivity.
I love this country but this country was not free for all of the inhabitants of this land. Many lost their freedom when this country came into existence, freedom. God bless.

I just made the point that the existence or founding of this country did not mean or bring freedom to all who inhabited this land. Many lost freedom as a result, regardless of whether or not it was founded on Godly principles. Thanks and God bless.
