In 2 Corinthians 6(v.14), it says (in part): Light and darkness cannot share together. (v15) What harmony is there between Christ and Belial?" "Greek Beliar, a variant of Belial," see BibleGateway.com - Passage*Lookup: 2 Chorinthians 6:14-15 . Accordingly, "Testament of Levi," says [Chap.V. (v.27)]: "choose, therefore, for yourselves either the light or the darkness, either the Law of the Lord or the works of Beliar," see Forgotten Books of Eden: Testament of Levi: Chapter V .
No matter what you call "him" or "it", the wickedness is still all around us and as written in Revelation and Daniel, will be increasing in strength as time marches on. Not too consoling, but thru-out the Bible, it's replete with an end to this "Belial" ,Beliar, Belias, Belfagor,or whatever you call "him". ((So much for towns & cities as well with the first syllable of "BEL" or even "BAAL" ))
