That's how I feel..We visited a church once and I remarked to my husband that the songs sounded like love songs you'd hear on the radio. No mention of deity at all...The lyrics in one song was mostly, "la, la, la, la, la"...I refused to sing it....I guess that's why I love the old hymns; there's a sermonette in them that's missing in some of the modern songs of today. Not all of them are bad, but discernment is needed I think...

I actually had the opportunity to visit Hillsong London and it was awesome!

I bet it was. Maybe someday I can worship with them...in person I mean. I've worshiped many times through their music.
