Yes. We can see this simple truth in the lives of the early Christians who
had only to tell a small lie to save themselves or their families from horrible deaths under the Roman laws. They would not lie nor would their Master.
Some of the posts are made, I think, to just to cause chaos here on the forum and between Christians....is this doing right in God's eyes?

Then when asked if Jesus would lie to save somebody's life Mystic said Jesus would remain silent. But Mystic - you just said it was not a lie - so why would Jesus remain silent if it was not a lie.... What difference does it make that there is no lie in Him if it is not a lie?
More Harold obfuscation . . . I said even though it would be done willfully . . . it was NOT . . . Sherry - what other commandments would you break in order to save people?
Would you steal, murder, become a prostitute? Nobody is going to die apart from the will of God. Rather than lie could you not just remain silent and let the providence of God decide the issue?
Think I'll take a break from the Christian forum for a while, this debating, belittling and fundamentalist/mystic banter is sooooooooo un christ like I can't even stand it.
