matt 23:

31Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
32Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. 33Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

God is unwilling to save some men, the seed of the serpent...gen 3:

15And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel

Jesus had this to say to some of them Matt 23:

31Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
32Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers. 33Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Fill ye up in the greek is an imperative, so jesus was commanding them to continue in their evil course of behaviour, in order to be punished for it, he then says, how can you escape the damnation of hell..now it is absurd to think that Jesus christ wanted these men saved..

Its the exact opposite, He desired their damnation in hell, who can deny this ?

Jesus gave His life as a ransom for all. (1 Tim. 2) It was God' good pleasure to reconcile all to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross. (Col. 1) God is the Savior of all men, especially of believers. (1 Tim. 4) Jesus was sent to be the Savior of the world ( 1 John 4). He is the propitiation not only for our sins but for the sins of the whole world (1 John 12) God bless.

Beloved,

Jesus was prophecying to them of the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD and the nation of Israel to be scattered among the nations.

Mat 23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

Is your doctrine also associated with the doctrine of the pre-existance of souls? I've heard the "serpents seed" thing before and that group, which I'm not a part of, also taught that all people pre-existed before the world and entered the world either lost or saved. These doctrines I reject, but would like your own clarification.

it's judgment of gehenna instead of damnation of hell, gehenna is the valley of Hinnom (see Joshua 18:16 in the Septuagint)

as far as I know in 70 AD many Jews have actually been slain or burried/burned in gehenna.

Ezekiel 33:11

Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

are the wicked the elect or the serpent seed?

In a sense you are correct. Those people will not be saved for the 1000 year kingdom to come. And maybe they will not be saved to enjoy the new earth as well.

But Jesus' later revelation to the apostle Paul shows that eventually they will be saved for Romans 5:18,19; 1 Corinthians 15:22-28; 1 Tim.2:4-6 & 4:10,11; Colossians 1:20 show them being saved, reconciled, made righteous and have their lives justified.

(WNT) O serpents, O vipers' brood, how are you to escape condemnation to Gehenna?

(YLT) `Serpents! brood of vipers! how may ye escape from the judgment of the gehenna?

(GNT-WH+) οφειςM γεννηματα εχιδνων πως φυγητε απο της κρισεως της γεεννης

(CLV) Serpents! Progeny of vipers! How may you be fleeing from the judging of Gehenna?

(ALT) "Serpents! Brood of vipers! How shall you* escape from the judgment of hell [Gr., gehenna]?

Gehenna is the trash dump just to the south of Jerusalem.

Let's not go there. We see nothing in scripture where God desires for people to be in hell. Scripture clearly says, that God does not delight in the death of the wicked. God loves everyone and wants none to perish. I believe Jesus did not die on the cross for the whole world but for His elect who He predestined to be in heaven but there is no verse that God desires for men to go to hell. This is just another mystery of God which in our perverted, fallen state we are in we could never know nor comprehend. We should not fill in the blanks; we should only go from scripture. Much safer.
