I buy powerball tickets every week but have always wondered if it is something God would be against. What do you think?

With the heart of Jesus it is best to bless every one who plays the lottery winners and losers, never thinking `boy I should have won and that people won should have lost and I have his winning which is covetousness and break to commandment of love to others .... See greed is ruled by the image of the beast and covet is also ruled by the image of the beast so you can counter these darks spirit by blessing other people to win in you heart and even rebuking the dark spirit to Jesus in Jesus name if thoughts of covetousness and greed come your mind and Jesus will give you a pass because we are under grace and not the law so we must go to Jesus and receive this gift of grace or the law will be challenged by sin that comes thorough the adversary... be blessed in Christ....

In my opinion, the only time going to a casino, playing bingo, buying lottery tickets could be said to be wrong is if you are using money better spent on family or kids. Are you buying lottery tickets instead of doing your best to keep them fed? I do not believe the risk of available money that could feed your family or pay bills on the off chance that you might win is something that is a good thing to do.

I spend about a dollar or two every month on the powerball, I waste more on that buying pop at work, so in reality, the pop I drink is probably in the long term unhealthy for me and it's probably worse than buying a couple of powerball tickets every month.

Keep playing the pwerball, but God told me that if you win and don't give me half you'll burn in hell. Some smileys so you know I am kidding.
