I read somewhere that "Revelations" is a meaningless book in today's society. That Christians who believe in it are fooling themselves.

Excusez-moi?

This is the first time in my life I'm hearing something as this. For I know every christian on the face of the earth is so passionate about Revelations.

It's nothing but our only connection with our persecuted forefathers. Do we have to forget that John wrote that as a rallying call to the earliest Christians who were being burnt, killed and maimed by wild animals and gladiators in the Roman games? The mass burnings of Nero, Vespasian and Domitian... going as far as the edict of Trajan.

Isn't revelations our only form of bond with the catacomb christians who prayed in the underground, hiding? Don't we all go to church today only to commemorate their outlawed act of group prayers in fear?

This isn't about the catholic church, camps.

If people dismiss the revelation, that's the beginning of the disintegration of Scripture
