The serpent deceived only eve. Adam was not there. Her husband with her, as far as i know does not appear in the original Hebrew text. The verse in Hebrew is ...

"'akal 'iysh gam nathan" , translates roughly as "also gave man eat" ...

Adam fell becaue of his love for eve. Eve was beguiled and Adam was smitten of Eve quite literally.

We are also told that Adam was hiding out of shame for being naked.

And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

8And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.

9And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

10And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

then read Luke Jesus' Genealogy Luke 3:23-38 (look carefully at v 38)

Eyewrist yes i knew about the lineage . I would be interested in how Adam and the line to Jesus are in the presence of the Lord .

Indeed. I wanted to respond to your earlier post ... Cain was given his own Genealogy, he was not the son of Adam, he was the son of the serpent. Check out my video on this topic if you like ...

Remember in... I believe it is in Hebrews , the bible speaks of the first Adam, the physical one and the second Adam the spiritual one (Yeshua). Also Rahab the prostitute is in the lineage along with Ruth who was not a Jew but married one. God protected the lineage for the coming of the Lord... God is NOTHING like us humans; NOTHING. He is PURE LOVE... loving all mankind ...loving all of his creation. Until the Lord touches your heart in a deep manner (or should I say you allow him to) this concept is hard to fathom; your knowledge of God is be limited.

Yes i understand and agree with your points , but where is the scripture to support that the linage to Jesus is in the presence of the Lord?.

Eyewrist .......... I don't think any of us are bible scholars (I know I am not) and like you, we are seeking truth.

I also don't exactly know what you mean about the lineage of Jesus being equated to Adam now being in the presence of the Lord - do you mean Adam has already been resurrected?
