Went to 4 funerals this week...this just seemed appropriate...
one was for a 21 year old boy who had cancer and suffered so much that it was unthinkable...
and we ask God why...
Someday may we know all the answers...for there's always a reason...right?
May Christopher rest in peace.

I can't believe I've never posted my favorite Van Morrison song:

YouTube - Did ye get healed?

But lemme go pan-spiritual with this post. Here's one for the eastern mysticist '80s rockers. (To be played LOUD.)

YouTube - LOVE AND ROCKETS - Kundalini Express (Extended mix)

I'll let this one represent Zen, or moreso a response to the OP. "My words are war/Should a word have two meanings?/What the **ck for?/Should words serve the truth..." (BTW, yeah are are spoken obscenities in this one.)

YouTube - The Minutemen- Do You Want New Wave Or Do You Want The Truth?

Finally, I actually have one for the atheists! Or at least an atheism of one vigorously purposeful sort, as a youtube poster proposed the song has something to do with the Situationist/Marxist social art movement of the late '60s with its concrete imagery. Yeah, it's a real stretch, but a "heaven"-ly song anyway!

YouTube - Wire - Kidney Bingos

Rock on, everyone.

"Sometimes" a song lyrics written by Henry Mancini's daughter Felice and sung by the late great Karen Carpenter, who in my opinion was the greatest singer ever.
