So why would anyone preach the harlot's words as if they come from the Holy Spirit. Sickening, to be sure.
Jesus said it best....because they know not what they do.

Agreed. Even after explaining it to Mike over, and over, he still does not understand that when talking to us, he needs to explain it to us using proper English. He doesn't understand the Christ is not part of Jesus' name. It is a description of Jesus. It is descriptive of God the Father indwelt in human likeness called the Christ, for our benefit, not His.

We understand this, but then again,,the scales have fallen off.

As more and more people leave organized Churchianity (with all of their man made doctrines and traditions)....I believe they will see the truth after all the dogma is out of their system and they start to seek God with all of their hearts, souls and minds. God ALWAYS reveals the truth to those who earnestly seek it.

I agree. How hard would it have been for Almighty God to live a perfect life! Would that really have been a great accomplishment? God created the flesh. To believe God the Father himself would have a hard time living a sinless life in the very flesh he created is beyong belief! God cannot sin. God cannot be tempted. To believe that God Almighty himself was tempted by satan in the wilderness is just, well, there are no words. How can God be tempted. He has everything,he owns everything. Everything is in his hands. The bible says God is not a man. How mush clearer can it be?

again two diametrically opposite points of view where one cannot be a Christian concept, right?!

Quote:
The Father called Jesus God and Peter and Thomas!!
The throne of Jesus is forever. For this Jesus can be called god, to those who recognize this Authority. I will address the rest before going deeper.

So, do you not believe the scriptures and what they say or do you see Jesus as God at all?
First off, we must understand the word god. It is not the Name of the Son, nor is it the Name of the Father. It is a title, given to those in authority.

Quote:
Hebrews 1:8

But to the Son He says:

“ Your throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.

The Father is calling Jesus God, not me, God The Father.
This is because the Father has given Jesus the Authority which is rightfully His. But the Father is NOT equating Jesus with Himself. Read verse 9.

Therefore GOD, YOUR GOD, has ANOINTED YOU WITH THE OIL OF GLADNESS ABOVE YOUR COMPANIONS.

Uh Oh. Houston, we have a problem. How can GOD the Father call someone else GOD, when the prime commandment say the LORD our GOD is ONE.

Time for tall tales. Let's make something up. We shall call it the trinity. This way, we maintain our authority as the ones who "see" the Truth, and the people(sheeple) will be subject to us. We keep our power, take their money, and control their thoughts.

What if they ask how it is that GOD Almighty can be lower than an angel? Heb 2:7
What if they ask how can GOD Almighty be a man? Numbers 23:19

In fact, this verse is too good to just trust that it will be looked up, so here it is:

"God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

Quote:
What about Romans 9:5, Jesus is called God again as well as other verses.
This verse does not say this. It is saying whom is the Christ according to the flesh is above all, and God blessed this forever. Amen.

Just curious how you see and read these verses?
With eyes and ears and heart WIDE open.

OK, for the last time. CHRIST IS OF GOD THE FATHER. Got it? CHRIST IS GOD THE FATHER. Got it? CHRIST IS DEITY. Got it? THIS IS THE WORD. Got it?

Now, let us move on.

Christ was found in the likeness of man. Who is the man the Christ WAS IN THE LIKENESS OF? Could His name be Jesus of Nazareth?
God the Father is not the Messiah. Christ means Messiah-Savior. Jesus Christ is the Messiah. It is Jesus Christ who did the work of salvation, who was judged for the sins of the world. Jesus Christ is God. Jesus Christ is the living Word. The Bible is the written word.

God the Father is God. Jesus Christ is God. The Holy Spirit is God. The three together are God. Three in Person, one in essence.

God the Father called Jesus Christ God. Jesus identified Himself as God. The Apostles called Jesus Christ God. The Gospel of John emphasizes that Jesus Christ is God. All the attributes of deity are attributed to Jesus Christ. Satan recognized that Jesus Christ is God. Satan tempted Jesus to use His deity by tempting Him to turn stones into bread. Fundamental Christianity recognizes that Jesus Christ is God. Scriptures have already been given that show that Jesus Christ is God. Therefore, why do you refuse to call Jesus Christ God?
