Agreed. Those who denied this man made concept were excommunicated out of the proceedings. So, the state got it's way, and the religion of churchianity was birthed, and married to the state. Sounds a lot like the harlot.
So why would anyone preach the harlot's words as if they come from the Holy Spirit. Sickening, to be sure.

People who have been so indoctrinated into this Trinity malarky will have a very difficult time seeing Jesus for who he was and seeing The Christ for who he was. They meld them together like Christ was Jesus last name. Jesus was annointed as The Christ (God's Spirit that indwelt Jesus)....this did not make Jesus God Almighty. Jesus and God were ONE in mind, will and spirit....this is the exact same calling that is on our lives....to be ONE. When you claim "trinity", like Hot said, you take away from Jesus the perfect life he lead and said it wasn't him that led it but God. Jesus accomplished something we can all accomplish....he showed us The Way....all we have to do is follow him. THIS IS WHAT BEING IN CHRIST IS ALL ABOUT!!!

As more and more people leave organized Churchianity (with all of their man made doctrines and traditions)....I believe they will see the truth after all the dogma is out of their system and they start to seek God with all of their hearts, souls and minds. God ALWAYS reveals the truth to those who earnestly seek it.

I agree. How hard would it have been for Almighty God to live a perfect life! Would that really have been a great accomplishment? God created the flesh. To believe God the Father himself would have a hard time living a sinless life in the very flesh he created is beyong belief! God cannot sin. God cannot be tempted. To believe that God Almighty himself was tempted by satan in the wilderness is just,well, there are no words. How can God be tempted. He has everything,he owns everything. Everything is in his hands. The bible says God is not a man. How mush clearer can it be?

Jesus is not the Father, Jesus is the Son, and also God.
Jesus is my god, but Jesus is not the Eternal God and Father. I can say this, because Jesus is my Authority, my King, my Lord, or whatever word you want to use to describe authority, which is what those words are.

God the Father is God. Jesus Christ is God. The Holy Spirit is God. The three together are God. Three in Person, one in essence.
God the Father called Jesus Christ God. Jesus identified Himself as God. The Apostles called Jesus Christ God. The Gospel of John emphasizes that Jesus Christ is God. All the attributes of deity are attributed to Jesus Christ. Satan recognized that Jesus Christ is God. Satan tempted Jesus to use His deity by tempting Him to turn stones into bread. Fundamental Christianity recognizes that Jesus Christ is God. Scriptures have already been given that show that Jesus Christ is God. Therefore, why do you refuse to call Jesus Christ God?
