Christian music star Jennifer Knapp comes back and comes out - CNN.com

Seems another "Contemporary Christian Music" star comes out of the closet...

When will people open their eyes to the fact that these people and this "CCM" INDUSTRY realize it is just that - an industry, a business, money-making using the Lord's name (in vain), with deception behind the whole thing??? Come on, already...when do people wake up?

Or she could be just like everyone else, a sinner who is saved by the grace of God.

Most Christians have sin or they could not live in the earth where sin is.... the devil is in the earth and that is where the Lord God has his people and Jesus is collecting then in these times...... People do not have to be sin free to be saved, but they must be willing to be free of sin and the the Lord God will judge his Children if they are willing to be free of sin and that they are willing to Love the Lord God....... It is only where people become in the Baptism of Holy Spirit and are need to be free of even more sin so they can be in ministries, because the challenge of the devil can inhibit a ministry and can steal a Christian ministry away and send that person to Heaven with a incomplete ministry..... so ministries must be cleaned and renewly cleaned for survival....... In Mattlew 13:24.... ``The kingdom of Heaven is like unto a man which sowed good seed in his field ... but while the men slept his enemy came and sowed tares amoung the wheat and went his way......... but when the blade was sprung up and brought forth fruit, they appeared the tares also..... so the servents of the household came and said unto him , sir didst thou sow good seed in the field from then hath it fares?........ He said ,an enemy hath done this ,, the servents said unto him wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? ... but he said Nay lest while we gather up the tares we root up also the wheat with them...... let both grow together I will say to the reapers.. Gather you together first the tares and bind them in bundies to burn them , but gather the wheat unto my barn``.................... Jesus says to leave the sin in and he will sort it out later to prevent damage on the good

To many christians seem to think homosexuality and lesbianism is the unforgivable sin, it is not, they are sins just like any other sin...they can be forgiven, but the sinner needs to recognize the fact that it is a sin and that they need to repent of it and do a 180 turn from it...we were no more designed to be gay than we were designed to be fornicators or adulterers or thieves or murderers...get the picture?...

So, rather than react with love and understanding about this brave girl being honest about how she was born, you choose to condemn not only her but the entire industry in which she works?

Is that Christian love?

I don't see it that way at all.

I don't see a "brave girl being honest". I see a girl who knowingly lived a life that many or most of her fans would have rejected her for, which goes against the faith she professes, and knowingly and deliberately covering it up and hiding it for 8 years (lying), and when finally coming out with the truth, showing no remorse or guilt for any of it.

And I see this as symptomatc of the entire CCM industry, which is more corrupt and more offensive to God than the secular music industry.
