Understandable everyone is hating on the design--I'm still pouring bleach on my eye sockets to remove the ugliness-- but why aren't more folks b*tching about the AWD?
How is it a Jeep with wimpy AWD/ front wheel?????? Has the world gone mad???
While it doesn't rival the Aztek, this new Jeep design is a definite competitor to the Nissan Juke (or, is it the...Nissan Joke? ) for the title of ugliest vehicle currently in production.
While the Juke requires an acquired taste for its looks I dont find it ugly. It wasnt designed to be cute or sophisticated. Its a small fun funky performer. Now the current cherokee/GC is to me the best looking cherokee to date. Strong looking yet classy.
Base model has an MSRP under 28K. The only 60K model is the SRT8 which was not meant for the general population.
Wrong .. the top of line (besides SRT) is called the Summit.. its easily $57-58k. This is speaking of the GRAND Cherokee.. NOT the "regular" Cherokee in the pics in OP.

The compass has always had "wimpy" fwd awd. This Cherokee is the replacement for the compass.. NOT a GRAND Cherokee..

MSRP of the Summit is $44,495 and $47,995 (two and four wheel drive).

I just built the most expensive Summit possible. MSRP was 53K.

Online builders very rarely have EVERYTHING you can add to any model, much less a brand new model.. is this amatuer hour? I guess Jeep lied to Motortrend??
