Understandable everyone is hating on the design--I'm still pouring bleach on my eye sockets to remove the ugliness-- but why aren't more folks b*tching about the AWD?

How is it a Jeep with wimpy AWD/ front wheel?????? Has the world gone mad???

While the Juke requires an acquired taste for its looks I dont find it ugly. It wasnt designed to be cute or sophisticated. Its a small fun funky performer. Now the current cherokee/GC is to me the best looking cherokee to date. Strong looking yet classy.

Wrong .. the top of line (besides SRT) is called the Summit.. its easily $57-58k. This is speaking of the GRAND Cherokee.. NOT the "regular" Cherokee in the pics in OP.

The compass has always had "wimpy" fwd awd. This Cherokee is the replacement for the compass.. NOT a GRAND Cherokee..

MSRP of the Summit is $44,495 and $47,995 (two and four wheel drive).

This isn't secret information.

This is getting confusing. Is the new cherokee a replacement for the Compass or Liberty or both?

Liberty. Compass will still be around. So now jeep will have 3 car based FWD "crossovers"

This is the 14 Compass

14 Patriot

14 Cherokee

Patriot still looks like most "jeep like" If they would sell that with RWD/4wd and the 4.0 I6 Ide buy one.
