Only way would be if the built two models a Wrangler based JK8/Jeep Brute or Rebadge a Ram Power Wagon 2500 and give it a Retro-Modern Jeep Gladiator styling

I would absolutely love to see a JK based truck, and would probably buy one as long as it still had solid axles both front and rear and a long enough wheel base to tow up to 5,000 pounds.
The Jeep pick-up was an idea started when AMC owned the Jeep brand - essentially a carry-over after the merger between Chrysler and AMC. The trucks were created because AMC half-assed attempted to compete with Chevy, Ford and Dodge in the pick-up arena. Considering Jeep and Ram are siblings today, I do not see a Jeep Truck (a la the Gladiator or the Commanche) competing internally with Ram trucks. The only hope may be a limited run truck that can have a platform mate with either the upcoming Wrangler or another Ram product for economy of scale reasons to spread the platform development costs across other products. (Think 2007-2012 Jeep Liberty/Dodge Nitro dynamic). Also, to be honest the Wrangler platform mate is high unlikely unless they have the extra capacity at Toledo, which never seems to happen.
If it's like this concept Jeep truck, I don't know if I'll like it. It looks like they merely chopped off part of the rear end to make it a pickup.
I'm hoping they hold true to standard Jeep styling, but push the boundaries and invite a little bit of design change. If they can maintain the integrity of Jeep and still break out of their comfortable, standard design, I'll be impressed.
A jeep pick up would be cool - would it not fit on the Wrangler 4 door Chassis? Throw a diesel in there with a manual trans.
I would think so. And it would be perfect for the J-12 concept. It's really just a JK, after all.
I'd love one!
