Just a long ownership report. Back in the Summer of 2004 I bought my wife a new 05 GC. Well it was $32k , fully loaded. I told her lets try and get 10 years or 150K. In the past we traded cars every 3 years or so. This van has been a good vehicle , driven daily. The van hit 200,000 miles last week. Orginal engine with no repairs. The auto trans was worn out at 192K , we had a Mopar reman unit installed . The parts that have failed along the way ; both blower motors, one radiator , one engine cooling fan, many belts and tensioners, many water pumps , AC expansion valve, and a few minor switches. I change the oil and filter every 5 K, and all other fluids every 30K.
We did have the van repainted last December. I did a lot of the prep work , then had an Econo paint job. It actually turned out pretty good.
No plans on replacing it , we will keep driving it until the very end . Who knows when that will be.

Long term grand caravan
Well another year almost has gone by.
219,000 miles. A few months ago I replaced the passenger side front window motor and regulator. No other repairs this past year.
I still do most of my own servicing and repairs.
Well done indeed. Most here in Pennsylvania don't see that kind of mileage, even with the very best of upkeep, like fleet maintenance. 150k tops or so around here before the PA winters, with their road chemicals, just eat away the lower body shells.

I forgot to say , we moved from Central Florida earlier this year. So no actual Ohio winters yet. It was mild this year and I dont think my wife drove in the one time there was salt on the road. I do see many GCVs of similar age here in Southern Ohio but most are eaten up with rust.
