I know it's in reference to a different Cincinnati restaurant, but I wanted you all to meet the "Mother of Barbie Q" that I found while serving at Laughlin AFB in Del Rio, TX back in the mid-1980s. She stood outside a long-defunct travel agency.

THANKS to everybody who stepped out of the sunshine for some 'cue on Sunday! As usual, I got about a half-dozen conversations started with about as many people only to have 4 o'clock roll around. Didn't even get to have some direct face time with the baby. But it was great to "put faces to screen names" for some more folks and have them see goyguy in the flesh.
Special thanks go out to Gerri Ann for the ride back to my lodging place in her fire-engine red car! I arrived on the Metro & returned in STYLE.
Although the next "official" meet-up probably won't be until April, don't let that stop anybody from plotting one of their own. They're always a fun time, plus you always get to eat.

Yep, glad we came, too! (And it was a bonus NOT to be dragging a 53' trailer through Oakley like I'm usually doing... Was great to see everyone and a fine time was had by all! Our calendar's pretty full for the rest of this year, but I believe April may just be a good time to meet up again (and it'll be after B-ball season but well before the Reds get to the Series, so it oughta be easy to have even more members show up!)

Enjoyed seeing the folks I have met before and meeting new friends on a beautiful fall afternoon! The food was great, the company fantastic and I know GoyGuy just loved being taken back to his lodging in a car that matched his shoes
