Deer Park Taxes? (Cincinnati, Mason, Forest Park: income, income tax, live in)

Hi there, I recently had an offer accepted on my first house, in Deer Park. I currently live in Forest Park. Does anyone know whether Deer Park has the same sort of income tax thing that Forest Park does where they charge you income tax even if you don't work there?

The City of Deer Park has a 1.5% income tax rate. If you pay income taxes to another jurisdiction where you work, Deer Park will grant you a reduction up to the 1.5% you owe them. If you do not pay income tax where you work, then Deer Park will collect the 1.5% from you.

Example #1, you live in Deer Park but work in Mason. Mason will collect their 1% income tax from you. Deer Park will grant you a reduction of the 1% paid to Mason, but still require the 0.5% remaining to be paid to them. Example #2, you live in Deer Park but work in Deerfield Township which has no income tax. You will owe the 1.5% to Deer Park. Example #3, you live in Deer Park but work in Cincinnati. You will owe Cincinnati their 2.1% income tax rate, but owe Deer Park nothing.

Cincinnati's earning tax is 2.1%. The way it usually works is your employer will withhold the 1.5% Deer Park tax and you'll have to pay Cincinnati the remaining .6%..

Does anyone know the tax rate in lebanon? My check is being taxed Mason taxes (i work in Mason), but my wife's is not (she also works in Mason.

I'm super confused on who is getting the correct deduction here, or if there are some other factors involved.
