Morning rush hour around 8 AM.

Which route is less congested? I 71 from Blue Ash or I 75 from Sharonville heading south to NKY?

WILW: I 75 is always congested till about 830-900am, more so now due to the construction in and around the Mitchell Ave interchange.

I 71 is less congested at that time.

Obvious all bets are off when accidents occur or snow/ice come into play.

I-71 normally. Most of the conjestion on I-71 is actually north of Blue Ash from all of the suburbs out to Mason trying to get to both the Industrial Park along Reed Hartman and also downtown.

I-75 is typically pretty well conjested from not just Sharonville on in but all of the traffic from both Burler and Warren counties going downtown.

I agree that 75 is more congested, but why? As coworker suggested it's because a lot more Kentuckians use 75, and many of them are not used to driving on interstates and their cars/trucks break down a lot which causes rubber necking, but I have no hard stats to support it.

I think I-75 is more congested because of the semi traffic. They move slower, take up more room, and cause drivers around them to go slower as well because of the fear factor. 75 has tons of trucks on it pretty much all the time, were 71 doesn't. Just my two cents.
