Trouble in smalltown USA. This has to be a good chunk of Wilmington.

Yes, that seems to be a large number of people for Wilmington. I guess they figured they were out of radar range. Apparently not. Our law enforcement officers need to be commended for tracking this down.

Poor little Wilmington. Doesn't get any recognition even when it is the center of a major drug bust. Maybe why the druggies gather there. Noone else apparently cares.

I'd love to see a list of all the people who were arrested. Maybe I know some of them. :O

Maybe some are your relatives?

^^^ Nope. I'm not originally from W'ton. The house across from us has changed owners a few times in the decade we've lived here. One family was mildly shady, and another was downright nefarious, and I wouldn't put selling heroin past them at all.

The family who lives there now, though, are quite nice.

Wasn't there some further information released on the list of 72? For example how many were from the city limits of Wilmington versus how many were from outside of Warren Co. I just have to believe such a large number of people should have some breakdown. The lack of a breakdown makes me believe Wilmington just wants it to go away in a hurry.

How many people died during this investigation from heroin overdose when they could have stopped it the first day? Or at least startted arresting people last year.

So arrest them immediately, with no evidence to back it, rather build a case so they won't be back on the street within a month?

They had evidence the first day the investigation started. They knew something. Over 1000 people died in Ohio because of Heroin overdose.
