One terrible game does not the season make. But if they start to string together a few real stinkers then it is time to worry. Dalton had the lowest QB rating in 30 years and one of the top five lowest ever recorded. Nowhere to go but up.

It's not just one game, they've already had a couple terrible games. It's time to do the math. To be in a play off position they're probably going to need 10 wins. They have seven games left and need to win five of them. Five of the remaining games or on the road. It doesn't look good.

They've had a couple of not too good games. Agree. This last one was beyond a stinker though. One of the worst displays of football in recent decades. Reminiscent of some of the games the NY Giants used to play in the mid 1970's though I am not sure that they even played a game this bad.

If the Bengals don't win a playoff game this year then it may be time to look at tinkering with the coaching staff.

^They are unlikely to make the playoffs with the loss. They need 5 more wins. That tie will come back and bite them in the ass.

The Bengals are extremely successful.... financially, which is all the Brown family cares about.
Marvin Lewis is the perfect puppet for them.
I will never again buy a ticket or merchandise as long as they own the team.

Paul is spinning in his grave.

Sorry it took me so long to get here to gloat. I would have liked to have seen a closer game!

What's utter insanity is the fact that Mike Brown was exposed to football at the shoulder of the greatest man to coach the game, and still runs the team the way he does.

The bengals and their overall crappiness are the one and only reason why I'm a Steelers fan. The team is a joke.

The Reds, on the other hand.... That's a team to be proud of.

Probably. I haven't been following them this year.

Side note but related to the topic - Cincy deserves a better NFL team. They deserve to have the Bengals not be the entitled-trash football team with a bunch of uneducated criminals like the former player Chad Ocho Cinco, and whoever else was thrown in prison.

It requires a cultural change. It requires an apology to the citizens of Hamilton Co. who paid for their stadium. And it requires action.

But again, with a bunch of classless slugs like the ones who currently rep the black and orange, I wouldn't expect anything of the sort.
