I need to find two or three interior doors for my house in Covington. Has anyone seen any at Habitat for Humanity stores in the area or a similar kind of store? Will cost far less if I purchase there vs. a major retailer or speciality store. Looking for solid wood doors to use for a bedroom and utility room.

If you are checking out the Hamilton location, there is also the Pease Warehouse on Dixie Highway (Rt 4) in Hamilton.

I know someone selling some 30" x 84" interior doors for $25 each. Most are painted and the panels have a bit of splitting, nothing abnormal though. They are c. 1920 with hardware. PM me for more details. Last I checked he had four.

Habitat also has a restore in Cheviot. Might be a slightly closer commute than Hamilton:

Cheviot, Ohio ReStore Location - Habitat for Humanity Greater Cincinnati | Cincinnati, Ohio

Also "building value" in Northside:

Home | Building Value Cincinnati

Their used to a be another similar type place (Walnut hills??) - but apologies these are the ones I'm able to come up with quickly.

The hamilton restore is great (just dropped some items off this past weekend, no doors though!!) ... but these other options might be closer for you. I'd call them and describe what you're looking for - they should be able to let you know if they've got anything that might work.

The Building Value store in Northside was in Walnut Hills for years. It's a really great resource for affordable items. I found several old door knob to use when we remodled the kitchen that would have cost a fortune to buy at the specialty stores. We had our contractor drop off our old kitchen cabinets and countertops with them.

They usually do have the type of doors you're looking for.

Ahhh... gotcha, bet that's what I was thinking of. Recall going to walnut hills several years ago to drop some things off.

I haven't been in the Northside location, but when I visted the Walnut Hills location they had a pretty good selection of doors/windows and other reclaimed housing materials.

Thanks. Yes, my real estate agent showed me the place in Northside when I bought the home more than two years ago but I forgot the name of the place.

Have you tried The Wooden Nickel on Central Avenue? I have bought many doors there over the years.
