Nice stereotyping of NYC, no one said they did. I'm sure the same could be said about Minneapolis/St. Paul.

It's an opinion, NYC is very diverse so there's plenty of accents from around the world so your own accent may stand out more to yourself when speaking to someone with a different accent.

Btw I like the exaggerated Fargo accent, it's funny. But a lot of accents are exaggerated, just like Fran Drescher on The Nanny, I still like the way it sounds though lol.

I'm partial to the southern Atlantic coastal accent...think Savannah or Charleston. It's clearly a very southern accent, but it also sounds quite dignified if done right as it still includes some old English persuasion in it. The Ocracoke brogue is another similar one that I like.

Out of sheer interest, I enjoy listening to old-time mountain folk from the "hollers" of the southern Appalachian mountains.

I like listening to people from Georgia. Some nice speech patterns and pronunciations there.

So true LOL

Probably a frustrated valley girl.

NYC has the best accent hands down. You wont find none of that hick, twang, drawl crap up here.
