The concept is not as uncommon as you my think.
Yeah, this seems to be pretty common for some existing Ritz properties, and I do know the planned Ritz Carlton for Nashville has a hotel tower, and a condo tower on the drawing board.

That one in Nashville was supposed to break ground in late 2022, but the developer wasn't able to secure financing. Now it's changed development teams and could break ground this year.

Of note, there's also a St Regis planned for Nashville, just announced:

Four Seasons:
St. Louis has a Four Seasons in its downtown. It's connected to the Horseshoe St. Louis Casino (formerly Lumiere Place Casino).

Very exciting to see these hotels come to fruition. A Waldorf Astoria or Intercontinental would be nice to have, also. I love the Conrad and its location bridging downtown and West End together. I think the Neuhoff development would be a great candidate for a boutique luxury hotel like the Grand Bohemian. Kessler really doesn't have a presence in the Nashville market.

Omni William Penn
Doubletree by Hilton Green Tree (surprised by this one)
Westin
Joinery Hotel Pittsburgh, Curio Collection by Hilton
The Oaklander Hotel, Autograph Collection by Marriott
