ah okay. I didn't realize 99 was that far gone. I thought it was just short segments. well I guess you can change your question to say what city has 4 loops then, if you count 1960
True.. You could add L.A., but the city grew out so far that it defeated the purpose.

Back to the density argument.
You notice that most Northeast cities have extremely dense cores with extremely sprawled suburbs, whereas the most of the sunbelt (outside of GA, NC, etc.) meets it in the middle?
They can dig some Bayous to the trinity and turn the prairie into swamps...
It would be perfect. We just have to do something about those hills yall got up there.... Oh, and feeders. We got to add feeder roads everywhere!

Good, now with the bayous maybe we could get some trees to grow up there.
The hills we can flatten. We will use the dirt to divert the trinity
Urban is inner city, center of commerce, usually highly dense, and bustling with activity. The suburbs are the areas outside a central major city.
Houston has suburbs that are developing around it that are highly dense for sunbelt standards. So you are saying if these areas become more urban they all of a sudden are no longer a suburb of Houston?
commerce has nothing to do with being urban. Like i said many(not all)areas outside the five boroughs are urban in their own right and have public transit and ammenities because they're cities not suburbs. Newark, jersey city, stamford etc are the areas where most of the non-nyer metro lives. So no most of the metro does not live in the suburbs
