and thats fine. just keep in mind that one could walk through a "section" of a borough and not see something...

you could walk through flushing and think queens had 0 black ppl, for example.

next time you go to ny, ask your friend to take you to various areas (depending on if you have a lot of time) and show you around.

and i used to live in the south. thats how i met my gf. she didn't sway my opinion one way or the other.

anyway yeah, i agree to disagree.

Cool. Where did you live in the South?

I've only visited Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn. I'll be sure to keep everything you're saying in mind when I make it back up there man.

Yea if you really wanna see NY, gotta go to Brownsville, East NY, Far Rock, Queensbridge, Crown Heights, Bed-Stuy, Jamaica (do some shopping while your here too), Harlem, Mott Haven, Eastchester, Canarsie, and Coney Island you'll get a real NY experience lol. Its alot more I'm forgetting but yea you get the point. I think I've ridden every subway line in that city...

I think that in AA and American culture in general people dress this way mostly when they are "going somewhere" and in many other countries its the norm for women to look that way most of the time not just at work or just going out.
