Columbus, GA is home to AFLAC, Synovus, TSYS, Carmike Cinemas, Char-Broil, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia, and Realtree Outdoors. It also home to one of the largest (if not the largest) military bases in the world, Fort Benning.

In the Seattle area, I don't know how you define "biggest"

by local employees? Probably Boeing. You know, the airplane maker. Biggest in the world (though the French and Germans would disagree). The HQ is in Chicago, but for the longest time it was in Everett and Seattle.

by market cap? Microsoft, by far. HQ'ed in Redmond.

largest internet company (besides MSFT)? Probably Amazon.com

I love how the OP asks for the biggest corporation in your city, and people, though not everybody, get out their list of biggest COMPANIES headquartered in a city, calm down guys, this isn't a my city has bigger companies than yours thread, and its obvious that its most likely referring to F500 ranking in simplest terms, if not revenue.

Sorry for nitpicking.
